Why. You know, I heard they were gonna do a Kid Icarus for Wii, I was hoping for like...I don't know, a direct third installment or maybe even a redo of the original game (or games, seeing as there's two, but I'm talking the first one for NES...haven't played Of Myths and Monsters yet.) Anything with KID Icarus. Not 30-year-old-Hardcore-Prison-Escapee-With-Bulging-Muscles-Who-Is-A-Wannabe-Of-Kratos Icarus.

Jovial main characters are okay too. You know, that's the reason I like Sora from Kingdom Hearts so much. He's not all "Oh boo-hoo I can't go home and I lost my friends and I only just hit puberty." He's got a positive outlook, he keeps his head up even when the situation gets rough, and he doesn't ANGSTANGSTANGST all the time. One of the reasons Riku started to annoy me a bit...and why I really hate a lot of fanfiction Cloud Strifes.

I guess it's just pointless whining on my part, but I'm really just bothered by it...I was looking forward to a game with a more colourful main character. You know, instead of another angst-machine with a dark, sad past.

Confident and optimistic Pit > "Bawww I angst and kill shit to make my tattooed Fallen Angel balls feel bigger" Pit

It's just early concept art, and they say it's "progressed past that point" now. So I'm hoping that means it's regressed to something more true to the original series or akin to the Brawl design...I'd just like to see something a little more...refreshing? I don't know. I really don't have any passion left in me to type good arguments right now.

For anyone who has read this, I'd love to hear your input, even if you disagree with my position. It's really kinda put me in even more of a downer. (On that note, you likely won't see anything from me for a while outside of some possible vent sketches...I've got through some draining stuff in the last few weeks and I don't have inspiration for this site anymore. It'll come back, but not for a while.)

Yayyyy petition. It'll probably do f**k all, but if anyone likes being under the illusion of making a difference like I do, have at. The guy who made this could probably use the boost anyway.

I might add more to this later if I remember half of what I was gonna say about the concept art.
